A single word or a simple action can change things around for our good. A heart attracted in doing good things is a heart God is looking for. Its so easy to get distracted with the things of this world and forget that people are going through adversities in life. This people can either be our close friends or family.
God has given us a heart to do good things to people we know and do not know.We should remember to use this good heart to help the helpless and just be a light to someone who has given up. A simple check up on a friend or family can go a long way. Sometimes we get carried away with the good things of this world and we forget to deposit the good seed of love, kindness, and compassion to people who need it.
As you read this today, who is that friend you haven’t checked up on in a while? or who is that coworker you know is going through a tough time and haven’t yet asked how they are doing?…..maybe its time to set our minds straight and plant a seed in someone’s life today. Maybe all it takes is a simple phone call or a text message. Thank God for technology, checking up on people doesn’t have to be a hard task, its as simple as it sounds. Plant a seed today, put a smile on someone and watch that seed grow and blossom! When our heart is yearning to do good things to people, we gain Gods attention to bless us and even multiply our needs.We are not perfect but we can be better so i hope this is a lesson not just to me but to whoever is reading this today!!
